Founded in 1978, the Domaine is nestled on the renowned Kimmeridgian soils near the village of Lignorelles, to the northwest of the charming town of Chablis. This 20-hectare estate is now run by Roland’s two sons, David and Arnaud, who work together to uphold the family’s legacy through thoughtful and sustainable lutte raisonnée practices.
Fermentation takes place under strict temperature control in stainless steel, ensuring precision and freshness, with all but the Petit Chablis spending time in carefully selected barriques ranging from 2 to 6 years old. While the Vaudésir Grand Cru stands as a powerful expression of the region, the true signature wine of the Domaine is the lieu-dit Vauprin which sits at the highest elevation in Chablis, Vauprin imparts a striking mineral intensity - this dramatic, expression of the region’s terroir that speaks to the purity and energy of this exceptional vineyard. Look out too for their remarkable Premier Cru’s and their beguiling Pinot Noir Epineuil.
