Euan McKay spent a decade as a print industry executive before transitioning to the Melbourne wine trade in 1994. In 1996 his decision to turn passion into profession led to the creation of a dynamic niche importing business specialising in the wines of eastern France.

Sandro Mosele, a highly respected producer on the Mornington Peninsula and former chief winemaker at Kooyong and Port Phillip Estate, joined Euan in 2015. Now leading Elanto Vineyard, he continues to bring his expertise and vision to the business.

Specialising in sourcing exclusive wine from small family estates devoted to their history, terroir and production quality. Our principal philosophy is to bring our customers wines at affordable prices from producer to table.

Each year, they travel to France and Germany to taste new vintages, discover new estates, and secure the finest wines directly from growers. By working without agents or intermediaries and shipping exclusively in refrigerated containers, they ensure every bottle arrives in Australia in it original condition.

EMWM direct relationship with their principals in France and Germany is strong and personable with an excellent understanding of each grower’s vinicultural philosophy and wine-making techniques.
