Everything about this fine Domaine is attractive and immaculate – even the elaborately decorated concrete cuves. The Tollot’s and the Beaut’s have remained together for many generations and have therefore maintained excellent and valuable vineyard holdings.

The retirement of the Domaine’s elder statesman has opened the door for the younger generation – cousins Nathalie, Jean-Paul and Olivier, to make further subtle changes and advancements at this progressive and fine Domaine.

The yields are lower and the wines are racked less, for many years this has always been a consistent source of delightful and serious Burgundy offering up stunning value.

“For the Tollots, the production of a truly fine wine is an amalgam of a multitude of smaller inter-related details. Their reds are highly individual, accentuating the ripe, succulent, almost sweet flavours of which the Pinot Noir is deliciously capable. The Tollots are a fine band of brothers and a reliable source of delicious wines – individuals, made collectively, of course.” Remington Norman MW
